ILLINOIS ALL-GIRL CHEERLEADING CLUB was founded in 2003 by a group of
University of Illinois students that wanted to offer an alternative to Coed Cheerleading at Illinois.
The goal was to create a program that was strictly competitive.

The team starts its season by attending camp at the University of Louisville each summer. At camp the team
competes for a bid to NCA Collegiate Nationals. Camp also serves as a bonding experience for the new squad
members and a chance for the team to learn new stunt and pyramid sequences. Practices during the year are
held 3 times a week for about 2 hours each. Our performances consists of Quad Day and Homecoming at the
University of Illinois Campus, Exhibitions at High School Cheer Competitions, Jamfest Nationals, COA
Nationals and the year ends with NCA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida!
